Wanted to add that Pam Weinberg suggests the ending of MICHAEL CLAYTON and my brother-in-law, to whom I also sent my original email, adds CASABLANCA , and he’s way right about that.

What comes first to my mind are BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI, THE GREAT ESCAPE, WOMEN IN LOVE, and THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

Godard (the narrator in this clip) was never too kind in his depiction of women. Yet Anna Karina, Godard’s erstwhile muse and spouse, sparkles in every movie in which she appears.

–Dewey Cox meets the Beatles while in India visiting the maharishi.
Justin Long as George Harrison
Paul Rudd as John Lennon
Jason Schwartzman as Ringo Starr
Jack Black as Paul McCartney
I’d love to see these guys in a movie – as the main stars. Can someone ask Judd Apatow and Jake Kasdan to make that happen?
